With the promise of chicken nuggets to be delivered and a conversation that definitely needed to be had, Cal told Leo where he was going before giving him a big kiss and heading into the transportalizer. He punched in the coordinates and felt the rushing motion before he found his feet on solid ground again. Leaning back against the transportalizer, he took a moment to collect and ground himself. He still wasn’t used to that.

When he recovered, he followed Arley’s directions and headed down the designated hall and door. He gave a small knock before opening it up with a grin. “Helloooo?” He said in a sing-song voice before heading inside, closing the door behind him.

With an excited bounce he hopped up off the bed, excitement scribbled all over his face with his bright eyes and big smile.

“Hello!! Thank you for coming over! It’s very nice to see you!” He headed over to Cal and tugged him closer to the bed, making room in his nest of blankets on Dirk’s old bed for the other boy to sit. This was exciting! He didn’t often have company exclusively for him, so this was a wonderful change of pace. Most people came over to help Dirk or - sometimes, D used to have people over, but that was it. Arley was lacking in friends of his own. But now one was here! To see him!

He climbed back onto the bed and clapped his hands excitedly. “I hope this is okay? Please tell me if you need any more blankets or anything. There’s a ton around here and I can sneak into D’s room where John is sleeping if I’m really really quiet.”
